For those looking to visit the museum, the Heritage Discovery Center which includes the Johnstown Children’s Museum and Johnstown Flood Museum are typically open 7 days a week.
The hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. between April to December. Between January to March the museums are closed on Mondays. Between Tuesday through Sunday the museums are open 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
The Johnstown Flood museums are all open during any holiday except New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
